Roma Saleyards was proud to welcome LifeFlight Australia to the facility during the month of June as the organisation conducted its LifeFlight Cash Cow Campaign, raising a total of $58,000 through the support of generous donors.
Twenty-six donors contributed to the campaign by donating a beast, giving a fixed amount or donating a percentage of their sales.
In support and promotion of the life-saving cause, the Saleyards waived the fees on donations throughout the month of the campaign.
“Council was proud to play a role in the LifeFlight Cash Cow Campaign and to support LifeFlight Australia as it continues to provide lifesaving care flying for regional South West Queensland,” said Mayor Wendy Taylor, portfolio for Saleyards.
“These services are essential, particularly to our rural and remote residents.”
