Welcome to Roma Saleyards – owned and operated by the Maranoa Regional Council.

As Australia’s largest cattle selling facility, we proudly serve as the marketplace of choice, with the weekly sale throughput being 298,085 cattle sold in the 2024/25 Financial Year.

Recognised for record-breaking sales, we cater to graziers from across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Our facility is modern, secure and well-maintained, ensuring smooth operations for all users.

We conduct auctions every Tuesday starting at 8am with special sales, such as bull sales and herd dispersal sales, held based on demand.

Additionally, the saleyard offers spelling and private weighing services to meet the needs of our clients and the industry.
