There were just over 6,800 head of cattle yarded to go under the hammer at this week’s sale at the Roma Saleyards.
The cooler conditions of this week’s sale were a welcomed change to the previous week’s warmer temperatures.
The regular buyers, feedlotters and backgrounds were in attendance competing for the yarding.
The Roma Saleyards can once again be solidified as the marketplace of choice, with cattle being consigned from many areas across Australia.
Cattle were drawn from the local Maranoa supply district including Amby, Injune, Mungallala, Roma, Surat and Wallumbilla.
The yarding also hailed from Bollon, Thallon and St George in the south, and from Augathella in the west.
