Roma Saleyards beef it up for LifeFlight

The Roma Saleyards is excited to announce that it will be welcoming back LifeFlight Australia as beneficiary of its charity sale this June for LifeFlight Cash Cow Month.
During this month, Council is encouraging people to help keep lifesaving care flying for regional Southwest Queensland through a number of ways:
- Donate a beast
- Give a fixed amount
- Donate a percentage
The Roma Saleyards will waive fees on donations throughout June in support and promotion of this life-saving cause.
LifeFlight Australia is a world leader in aeromedical care, with a core purpose to save lives and serve the community. Operating with an advanced fleet of helicopters and Air Ambulance jets, this vital rescue service provides the people of Queensland with the assurance that emergency medical care is available 24/7, 365 days a year, no matter where you live.
Portfolio for Saleyards, Mayor Wendy Taylor encourages residents, workers and visitors to get behind LifeFlight Cash Cow Month and contribute to our medical regional helicopter organisation.
“Council recognises the great importance of getting behind charity sales especially ones such as LifeFlight that has such a massive impact in the Maranoa,” Mayor Taylor said.
“Services such as LifeFlight are incredibly important, especially to outback communities.
“With farmers and properties making up a significant percentage of our region, our locals depend on care such as LifeFlight when emergency strikes. Whether you know someone who has been impacted by this service or not, every bit of support goes back into supporting those around you in the Southwest when needed the most.
“We encourage you to join us this June by showing your support whether it be through a big or little action or spreading the word about the Cash Cow in conversation.”
